The Toledo Police Department is responsible for the overall law enforcement, crime prevention programs for the City of Toledo. The department also provides dispatch services to the Police Department, Fire Department, Rural Fire District and provides dispatch services to the Siletz Tribal Police Department. The Toledo Police Department contracts to provide law enforcement services to City of Siletz and Siletz Tribal properties. The Department is open 24 hours a day. Please call or stop by if you have questions. If you have an emergency, dial 911. Mission Statement Our mission, collectively as a department and as individual members, is to provide an exemplary level of service and protection to the citizens that we serve and to all those who may visit, work in, or travel through our community.
Philosophy: We will serve the community through professional conduct at all times and enforce the State and local laws without prejudice or bias, with respect for the rights of all people to be free from criminal attack, threats of violence and persecution, secure in possessions, and vigilant so that together our citizens can enjoy the highest level of quality of life and security. Public Safety is a community problem. Therefore, citizens and the law enforcement community must work together to solve neighborhood problems and insure that the quality of life is enhanced. |
