The City of Toledo has an opening for a UTILITY BILLING CLERK at 32 hours per week.  Responsibilities include processing and posting of the City’s utility accounts including billings, collections and balancing of accounts; receptionist duties including counter work and telephone; mail distribution; bank deposits and Municipal Court clerk duties.  Requires the ability to perform arithmetic computations quickly and accurately, experience with computerized accounting, electronic data processing, spreadsheets and databases, reception work and proven skills in dealing with the public.  Must be able to successfully function in stressful situations and handle a high volume workload. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency.  Salary range is $2,375 to $2,752 per month.  Benefits include paid vacation and sick leave, employee medical/dental insurance and PERS retirement plan.  Closing deadline is June 27, 2017.
