Toledo Arbor Day

This event features community tree planting, city tree tour and educational activities. Members of the community are welcome to participate. This celebration helps Toledo maintain its "Tree City USA" designation. Oregon celebrates Arbor Week the first week of April. The City celebrates Arbor Day on a day in April selected by the Council.

June

Music on Deck

Free Live Summer Concerts:  Bring your lunch and enjoy summer outdoor concerts on the Main Street Deck across from City Hall each Wednesday from noon to 1pm during the summer beginning in June.

Wednesday Street Market

Each Wednesday during the summer months beginning in June the City of Toledo will be sponsoring "Wednesday Street Market".  From 10 am - 2 pm this outdoor sidewalk sale will be held in conjunction with  "Music on Deck".  To participate, pick up a registration form at city hall.

July
Toledo Summer Festival - Fourth Weekend in July

The community festival is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in July each year at Memorial Field, which is located on A Street just off Highway 20 in Toledo. Each year the festival adopts a theme. The festival activities include:

Carnival on Memorial Field - Friday, Saturday and Sunday;
Kid's parade on A Street - Friday;
Live music on Memorial Field - Saturday;
Grand Parade on Highway 20 and Main Street - Saturday at noon;
Local logging show on Memorial Field - Saturday;
Fireworks on Memorial Field - Saturday at dusk;
Cub Scout Pine Wood Car Derby on Memorial Field - Sunday

The carnival, food booths, beer garden, dances, Toledo's famous fireworks and all the festival activities are open to the public. Admission is $6 each day.  For more information visit www.toledosummerfestival.com

August
Annual Toledo Antique Street Fair and Folk Music Festival - First Sunday in August 8am-5pm

Held the first Sunday in August, the Toledo Antique Street Fair features antique dealers from all over the state and region on Toledo's historic Main Street. The community will roll out the red carpet for dealers and visitors. The event includes food booths, classic cars, historic railroad display and quilt show. Admission is free.

Port of Toledo Wooden Boat Show

The annual Wooden Boat Show is held the fourth weekend in August and features wooden boats on display and maritime history, boat races, live music, seafood, kids' events and more.  For details visit the Port of Toledo website at www.portoftoledo.org or call 541-336-5207.

Toledo Film Festival

Join us under the stars for Toledo's first Film Festival on Saturdays in August and September.  Bring the children, blankets, chairs and pillows to a fun night outdoors at the movies.  For more information call (541) 336-2247 and press #4.

Art Walk - Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Labor Day Weekend)

Toledo's Art Walk is held Labor Day weekend. It features open houses at the studios & galleries of the artists living and working in Toledo, glass blowing demonstrations and art displays at the Toledo Community Center and Toledo Library. Scarecrow Festival and Trick or Treat Toledo - Halloween Afternoon

Toledo decorates with scarecrows and autumn wreaths. Children are invited to trick or treat Toledo Merchants and offices on Halloween afternoon.

December
Toledo Hometown Holiday - Second Saturday in December 10am-6pm

The Holiday "historic building" open house at Toledo includes merchants, bazaars, holiday craft sale, caroling, model train display, antique appraisal, lighted holiday parade with Santa and a tree lighting ceremony.
