Did you or your child participate in the Toledo Public Library’s 2015 Summer Reading Program? If so, the Library staff would like to hear from you! Please click the appropriate link below to download the printable survey form, or pick one up on your next library visit. You may return it by email to Deborah Trusty or in person at the Library. The Library Staff needs your input to plan and improve the Summer Reading Program for next year!
Summer is upon us and with this great season comes one of our favorite programs, the summer reading program, where you get to earn prizes for doing what you would be doing anyway, reading! This year’s theme is Every Hero Has A Story, so we will be focusing on superheroes, from Wonder Woman and Superman to all of the superheroes in our communities. By the end of May, the program had already enrolled 236 children, teens, and adults. Participants range in age from babies, whose parents have agreed to read to them, to eighty years old! Cumulatively, the reading program participants have committed to reading over 4,800 books this summer!
The Summer Reading Program activities begin on Thursday, June 18th at 10 am at the Toledo Public Library. To sign up to participate in the Summer Reading Program visit the Toledo Public Library!
Each Thursday will begin with a Books-to-Art Activity at 10 AM; then welcome our performers at 11 AM. Free lunch will be provided for all children again this year. Children and their parents are encouraged to attend:
