The Planning Commission is made up of seven community members, appointed by the City Council to serve a four-year term. The Planning Commission is the decision making body for land use applications such as conditional uses, variances, and land divisions. The Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on annexations, re-zones, zoning ordinance and comprehensive plan amendments, and street vacations. It is also involved with long-range planning and policy revisions. The Planning Commission holds 12 regular meetings each year and may conduct special meetings or work sessions as necessary.
The Planning Commission of the City of Toledo, Oregon, meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at Toledo City Hall Council Chambers.
