The City of Toledo received a grant from Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to create a Parks Master Plan. The master plan will guide the City in developing priorities for park maintenance, rehabilitation, expansion, and to meet the future needs of the community.
One important component to the project includes Citizen Involvement in creating the master plan document. A survey was distributed in late 2025 to help establish the priorities and goals. Toledo citizens, students, and park users were encouraged to complete the survey. The survey closed on January 5, 2026, and survey results can be reviewed here.
A worksession and open house event was scheduled on February 11, 2026 to review the project, survey results, and it provided an opportunity for community input and questions. The meeting agenda, packet, and information can be viewed at the meeting detail page.
