Budget Committee

The Budget Committee is a fiscal advisory committee to the City Council. They receive the proposed budget from the Budget Officer, they may make additions and deletions to the budget  and recommend to approve the annual budget to the the City Council. The Budget Committee contains 14 members composed of the City Council and an equal number of electors appointed by the governing body. The term for each appointed member is three (3) years. The Budget Committee meets annually, typically between April and June and their meetings are open to the public.
